Join us in the stunning surroundings of Wildhive Callow Hall for a scented candle making workshop, followed by lunch in the award-winning Garden Room.
The Workshop
We'll take you step-by-step through the candle making process as you enjoy sampling 14 specially selected essential oils, before creating and blending your unique fragrance and pouring your own Tapered Refillable Candle.
The workshop is followed by a lunch in the Garden Room restaurant, overlooking the rolling hills of the Derbyshire countryside.
10.30am - Welcome drinks
11am-12.30pm - Candlemaking Workshop
12.45pm-2.00pm - Lunch in the Garden Room, with time to explore the grounds
3.00pm - Your candle will be ready to collect; you’re welcome to spend the rest of the afternoon at Wildhive
The cost of the workshop is inclusive of all materials, lunch in the Garden Room restaurant, tea/coffee on arrival and your finished candle to takeaway.
Your Candle
You’ll make a Tapered Refillable Candle during the workshop, filled with your own unique fragrance!
Once you’ve enjoyed burning your fragrance, you can refill your candle with any of our Signature Scents. Check out our Refill Club to get the very best from your Refillable Candle, with savings and extra treats.

About the Venue
Wildhive Callow Hall is nestled in 35 acres of gardens, wild meadow and woodland. This lovely Victorian country house hideaway is perfectly situated at the gateway to the Peak District with 15 individually designed bedrooms in the house, two Treehouses and 11 woodland Hives.
The light and airy Garden Room restaurant and bar serving fresh, seasonal food overlooks the valley, and the converted Coach House offers wellbeing experiences from cycling to treatments. Our homely retreat is the perfect place to gather with friends and family.

Terms and Conditions
Workshops are subject to availability. Cancellations must be made a minimum of two weeks prior to the workshop, otherwise a refund may not be possible.
Very rarely, we may need to cancel or postpone a workshop because of circumstances out of our control or if a course is under-subscribed. If you are a confirmed attendee, we will let you know as soon as possible. We are not obliged to offer alternative dates or date if the reason for the cancellation is not down to us. This is down to our discretion but you will be offered a full refund for the workshop.
If you are unable to attend on the day, due to illness or other events beyond your control, we will do our best to offer you an alternative date but cannot guarantee this.
