  • Swallows & Damsons has built an international reputation, collaborating with prestigious global publications and leading brands, while remaining a much-loved part of Sheffield life for weddings, celebrations and everyday flowers.

    Founded in 2008 by Anna Potter, who after studying Fine Art at University, with no formal floristry experience, set out to bring an unexpected and uniquely wild feel to her designs. Developing a style that celebrates imperfections, subtlety in colour and form, taking inspiration from the rich darkness of Dutch still life paintings.

    Rooted in creativity, nature and thoughtful design, our story is one of world-class floristry with a warm local heart.

  • When you light your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2-3 hours until the liquid wax has pooled to the edge of the vessel, to help ensure an even wax melt and prevent tunneling. Trim the wick between burns to enable a long burn time.
